Ooty
Often
referred to as “Queen of hill stations” Ooty is one of the best hill stations in
India and also one of the top places to experince Tamilnadu Tourism. Ooty is the Most Interesting Spots of Tamilnadu.
This place has very cool climate in summer season So it one of the best Hill
Station in India. At an altitude of 7,440 feet, Ooty is situated at a distance
of 265 km from Bangalore.

Ooty Lake*
Ooty Lake is one the most beautiful and refreshing places to
visit on Ooty. The stunning lake is spread over an area of 65 acres, and its
foundation was laid down by john Sullivan who was the collector of Coimbatore
in 1824. Ooty Lake is an artificially constructed lake with natural
surrounding. An evening cycling around the lake or a quite morning with your
beloved by your side and the lake in front is enough to bring calm to yourself.

The Government Botanical Garden are undoubtedly one of the

Emerald Lake is located in Emerald Village away from the

woods and blue lake water are home to diverse flora and founa. Ooty and is a
part of the silent Valley National Park in the Nilgiri District.

Nilgiri Mountain Railway*
Nilgiri Mountain Railway, also known as Toy Train in Ooty. It
is one of the key attraction of the popular hill station in ooty. It is Started
in the year 1899, it has continued to charm its visitors over the past many
years winding its way through the best of nature. There is a metre gauge
railway in Tamil Nadu in India, built by the British in 1908.
The Nilgiri Mountain Railway such is the popularity and
history that it was declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2005. It is
not just the brilliant picturesque quality of this dream like rail journey that
makes it so special, but also the fact that the Nilgiri Mountain railway part
of India heritage. The Train cover a total distance of 46 km over a span of 5
hours meandering by the rolling hills, green meadows, and view of the forested
slopes.
